Stewards on the Couch with Michael Walsh
IPAA Queensland was pleased to host Mr Michael Walsh, Director-General of Queensland Health, as part of our iconic Stewards on the Couch series.
This event saw the Director-General take to the couch to have a conversation about senior leadership, public service, and the highs and lows of public leadership.
During this conversation with Ms Deidre Mulkerin, IPAA Queensland President, Director-General of Child Safety, Seniors and Disability Services, attendees heard about the career of one of the state’s most trusted senior public leaders. What drives the person in charge of one of the state’s most complex and significant portfolios? What keeps him awake at night? What is he most proud of? What advice does he have for future leaders in the public service?
Hear more from Mr Walsh in our conversation with him – On generosity, humility, and having a goal.
