The international recognized ASEP project is designed to increase school attendance by at-risk youth and discourage them from embarking on a downward spiral of truancy and entering the criminal justice system. A joint initiative between the Qld Police Service, the Department of Education and the University of Queensland, the project uses innovative, procedurally just dialogue grounded in the theory of Third Party Policing.

Global CoLab Movement for reimagining change –

Rachel Watson Co-Lead of HAL and Director at Watson & Associates.

What is the HAL?

It’s an intentional process that creates actions. It’s an opportunity to bring attention to solutions. What it is not is a hackathon or a talk fest!

Case Studies

Going Green – 100% solar and battery neighborhoods in QueenslandDr Michael Kane, Director Innovation, Economic Development Queensland

Two new residential developments underway in Carseldine and Oxley showcase the future of sustainable living. The neighborhoods are among the first in Australia to deliver net zero energy emission homes through 100% solar and battery along with a range of smart energy and living initiatives. The projects delivered by EDQ, working with the private sector, are an exciting example of the positive impacts for public value through industry partnerships.

Community Services Industry Covid Plan Belinda Drew, Chief Executive, Community Services Industry Alliance

The CSI Covid Plan also demonstrates the power of cross sector partnerships for delivering public value and during a global pandemic! Bringing together senior executives from 30 community services across Queensland and key state and commonwealth departments, the Covid Industry Taskforce facilitated the development of critical resources and practical tools to support community organisations and their clients, including a new digital recruitment platform, practical tools and resources, and distribution of PPE on behalf of government.
