2019 Chief Executives and Young Professionals Breakfast
IPAA Queensland was pleased to announce its first signature event for 2019 – the Chief Executives and Young Professionals breakfast – sponsored by KPMG – which addressed our 2019 theme – Reimagining public purpose work.
Keynote Speaker – Dr Angus (Gus) Hervey from Future Crunch. Gus challenged the audience to think differently about the next economy and how to harness the opportunities of a rapidly changing world for a better society. Gus’ keynote address opened our minds to how public purpose work will be different in the future, the skills required to thrive in a world of change, and how to start cultivating them now.
The breakfast is a tremendous opportunity for young professionals to engage in discussion with their peers and chief (and senior) executives, and for participants to connect with their counterparts across organisations and sectors.
What is public purpose work?
Public Purpose Work (n):
[puhb-lik] [pur-puhs] [wurk]
The work undertaken by community and industry organisations, government agencies and universities to develop and deliver services leading to a better society for all.
