About the IPAA National Conference

Held annually since 1958 — the conference also features the Garran Oration — one of IPAA’s richest and most public contributions to discussion and debate on public administration.

Each year one of the state/territory divisions of IPAA hosts the National Conference in partnership with IPAA National.

Who should attend

This is the premier event for anyone working in the public purpose sector. Over 2-3 days, you will hear from an impressive line-up of senior leaders and thought leaders from the public and private sector as well as leading academics on important issues facing the sector.
