Overview
The Diploma of Business Administration is designed to provide managerial level training for the clerical-administrative occupation. It will provide a basis for a wide range of careers and occupations. This qualification is designed to provide opportunities for participants who are seeking entry into higher level positions and need to gain skills and knowledge to upgrade to Diploma level clerical-administrative positions such as: office managers, business administrators, and senior executive assistants. The target group would include: graduates from lower level administration courses; people returning to the workforce; people wishing to extend career options and people currently in the workforce wishing to upgrade their skills or to have their existing skills recognised.
This qualification is delivered online providing you with the flexibility to complete the training when and where you wish. You will be fully supported throughout the learning process by qualified trainers from Accredited Online Training (AOT), Australia's leading provider of online qualifications.

Course Content
This qualification reflects the role of individuals who possess a sound theoretical knowledge base and use a range of specialised, technical or managerial competencies to plan, carry out and evaluate their own work and/or the work of a team.
On completion of this course, you will be able to:
- Plan and manage meetings, projects, payroll and conferences;
- Plan or review administration systems;
- Manage people performance and quality service;
- Ensure team effectiveness AOT will work closely with you throughout your training program.

All assessments are conducted online and you will receive feedback from your assessor within 48 hours (except when there is a Public Holiday). Holistic or major assessments may take up to seven days. Assessments may include multiple choice and/or short answer questionnaires, portfolios, case studies, and in some cases video and/or workplace based evidence may also be required.

Maximum nominal hours: 375
Full-time load: 12hrs/wk
Full-time duration: 32 weeks
Maximum 12 months access to online course (approx. 10-20 hours to complete each unit). This should include completing both the online training module and the associated formal assessment component.
How to gain your qualification faster?
Recognition of Prior learning (RPL) is the acknowledgement of the skills and knowledge that you have gained through previous studies, work and life experiences. If RPL is granted, this will mean that you will not have to complete the study or assessments for a unit or units of competency. Please read the student handbook for more information.
