Who Can Nominate 
Individuals and teams currently working in the public sector across all local, state and federal government agencies and organisations in Queensland. This includes those working within Government Owned Corporations and Statutory Authorities.

Benefits of Nominating
Entering the IPAA Queensland Public Sector Excellence Awards provides you with the opportunity to:

  • highlight your commitment to best practice for the public sector in Queensland;
  • showcase a project, initiative or program that demonstrates leadership and contribution to your workplace;
  • gain recognition for your achievements;
  • gain recognition for your team’s achievements; and
  • increase the awareness of ‘best practice’ across the public sector and the broader community.

The awards program offers seven categories for entry. There are four categories open to individuals and three best practice awards for local, state and federal government teams.

How to Nominate
All nominations must be submitted online by creating an account in the Nomination Portal
You must use the Nomination Template and Supporting Document Template for each categoryThese documents can be downloaded from the Award Categories page.
